Terms of Use

Terms of use for payoffcalc.online/ — educational tools, acceptable use, and intellectual property.

Last updated: September 26, 2026

1. Educational purpose

PayoffCalc provides free calculators and educational articles about personal finance. All content is general information, not personalized financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. See our Financial Disclaimer.

2. Accuracy

We work hard to keep formulas and content correct (see Methodology), but financial rules, tax limits, and product terms change. Always verify important numbers with primary sources — your lender, the IRS, or a licensed professional — before making decisions.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the calculators and share links to our pages freely. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to disrupt the site or its hosting infrastructure.
  • Scrape content at abusive rates or republish our articles verbatim as your own.
  • Submit spam or abusive content through the contact form.

4. Intellectual property

Articles, calculator designs, and site code are owned by PayoffCalc unless otherwise noted. Brief quotations with attribution and a link back are welcome; systematic republication requires permission — ask via the Contact page.

5. No warranties; limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayoffCalc is not liable for decisions made based on site content or for any loss arising from use of the calculators.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted here with a new date.
